How do I apply for Express Entry?
To apply for Express Entry, you will need to check your eligibility first. You will have to score a minimum of 67 points. This is the total of all the points you accrued on your age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. At first, if you find that you don’t qualify, you can take measures to improve your score like retaking the IELTS test to get maximum points, enhancing your educational profile and relevant work experience. However, it is always advisable to move fast, as you must keep in mind that increasing age will absorb your points.

What Happens When My Profile is Ready?
The next step in the process is to submit the completed profile. If you’re eligible, you will be placed in a pool with others who are also eligible. You will get a CRS score based on several factors. Approximately twice every month, the Canadian Federal Government hosts a draw in which a cut-off score will be declared. Candidates who score above the declared rank will be selected. And finally, if you get selected, you be invited to apply to be a permanent resident of Canada. You can only apply online when you get your ITA (invitation to apply).
When Do I Get My PR?
Your Express Entry invitation to apply is valid for 60 days only. We will do all that is necessary for the application as and when you provide us with the necessary details. If your application is approved, you will be mailed your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)! The whole process from application to getting COPR may take anywhere between 7 months to 18 months depending on your CRS score and other factors.
